Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Suuqe AI mobile application ("App") operated by Suuqe LLC. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. ELIGIBILITY

The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the App you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Children under 18 are not permitted to create an account or use the App.

2. ACCOUNT

When you first open the App a pseudonymous account is created automatically using a randomly-generated identifier. No email, name, or phone number is required. Your credentials are stored on your device via iCloud and synced across your Apple devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

3. USE OF THE APP

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes related to personal household food management, shopping, and meal planning. You must not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use the App to harm, harass, or defraud others.
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the App.
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

4. GENERATIVE AI DISCLAIMER

The App uses generative artificial intelligence ("AI") powered by third-party models (including Google Gemini) to provide features such as:

  • Food freshness and quality analysis from photographs.
  • Calorie and nutritional estimates.
  • Recipe suggestions, meal planning, and cooking guidance.
  • A conversational kitchen assistant ("Chef AI").
  • Image generation for recipes and food items.

AI-generated content is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. You acknowledge and agree that:

  1. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
  2. Freshness scores, expiry estimates, calorie counts, and nutritional information are approximations generated by AI and should not be relied upon as the sole factor in food safety decisions.
  3. Nothing provided by the App constitutes medical, nutritional, or professional advice. You should always consult a qualified professional for dietary, health, or food safety concerns.
  4. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Certain features of the App may present content generated by AI or derived from user interactions. Such content may not be vetted for accuracy or suitability. We are not responsible for any content that you find objectionable, inaccurate, or otherwise unsuitable.

6. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Suuqe LLC., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  1. Your use of the App or any AI-generated content.
  2. Your violation of these Terms.
  3. Your reliance on any information provided by the App, including AI outputs.
  4. Any food safety decisions you make based on information from the App.

7. SUBSCRIPTIONS

a) The App may offer subscription plans ("Suuqe AI Plus" and "Suuqe AI Gold") that unlock additional features.

b) Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

c) Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

d) You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

e) Free trial periods, if offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled.

f) We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE SERVICE MAY NOT ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE DUE TO MAINTENANCE, UPDATES, OR CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SUUQE LLC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM AI-GENERATED CONTENT, FOOD SAFETY DECISIONS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.

10. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings, which will initiate deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will increment the Terms version and present a summary of changes within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
